- Phase 10 ist ein Kartenspiel. Das Spiel wurde 1982 von entwickelt, 1985 von und 1986 von in den USA veröffentlicht und dort zum Bestseller. Die Regeln gleichen allerdings weitgehend dem wesentlich älteren "Contract Rummy", auch "California Rummy" genannt, welches mit Standard-Spielkarten gespielt wird. 2010 verkaufte Fundex Games die Rechte an dem Spiel an die Firma Mattel. 1995 wurde es in Deutschland von F.X. Schmid veröffentlicht. Nachdem F.X. Schmid von Ravensburger übernommen wurde, erschien das Spiel 1998 unter dem Label FX erneut und 2001 schließlich nur noch unter dem Verlagsnamen Ravensburger. Seit 2016 wird das Spiel von Mattel vertrieben. Das Spiel ist nach Uno das zweitbestverkaufte Kartenspiel der Welt. - Phase 10 is a card game created in 1982 by Kenneth Johnson and sold by Mattel, which purchased the rights from Fundex Games in 2010. Phase 10 is based on a variant of rummy known as contract rummy. It consists of a special deck equivalent to two regular decks of cards, and can be played by two to six people. The game is named after the ten phases (or melds) that a player must advance through in order to win. Many people shorten the game by aligning it to baseball rules and consider 5.5 phases to be a complete game when running out of time to complete the full ten phases. Whoever is in the lead when play stops if someone has completed 5.5 phases or more is the winner. Phase 10 was Fundex's best selling product, selling over 62,600,000 units as of 2016, making it the 2nd best-selling commercial card game behind Mattel's Uno. In December 2010, Fundex sold its license rights to Phase 10 to Mattel. (en)

Ela exige uma plataforma especial ou dois baralhos de cartas regulares, mas pode ser jogado por duas a seis pessoas. O objetivo do jogo é ser o primeiro jogador a completar todas as dez fases. No caso de dois jogadores concluírem a última fase na mesma mão, o jogador com a pontuação mais baixa para fora dos jogadores vinculados é o vencedor. Se esses resultados também acontecerem de serem vinculados, uma rodada de desempate é jogada onde todos as tentativas para concluir a fase que a última mão. Para cada mão, objetivo de cada jogador é completar e estabelecer a fase atual, e depois livrar suas mãos dos restantes cartões, descartando-os em fases previstas para baixo, chamado de "bater".
