- PDC World Cup of Darts je týmový šipkařský turnaj pořádaný společností Professional Darts Corporation. Hraje se každoročně od roku 2010 s výjimkou v roce 2011. V přímém přenosu jej vysílá stanice Sky Sports. Turnaj nahradil Jocky Wilson Cup, což byl mezinárodní zápas mezi Anglií a Skotskem, který se konal v Glasgow 5. prosince 2009. Anglie tehdy porazila Skotsko 6–0. V říjnu 2009 oznámil předseda PDC Barry Hearn svůj záměr koupit British Darts Organisation (BDO) a podpořit 2 miliony liber amatérské šipky, představitelé BDO ale nabídku nepřijali. Podle Hearna bylo jeho cílem sjednotit šipkový sport. Poté, co BDO odmítla nabídku, oznámila PDC založení tří nových turnajů s premiérovým pořádáním v roce 2010, které měly podpořit rozvoj mladých hráčů a žen: PDC Mistrovství světa v šipkách do 21 let, PDC Mistrovství světa v šipkách žen a PDC World Cup of Darts. - The PDC World Cup of Darts is a team darts tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation, and was one of the three new tournaments introduced into the PDC calendar in 2010. It is broadcast live by Sky Sports. Due to the rescheduling of the Players Championship Finals in the PDC calendar, the second edition was played in Hamburg, Germany in February 2012. In 2015, the event took place the Eissporthalle Frankfurt, where it stayed until returning to Hamburg in 2019 when it moved to the Barclaycard Arena. In 2020, the event was held at the Salzburgarena in Salzburg, Austria, and in 2021, it returned to Germany, this time in the Sparkassen-Arena, Jena, and in 2022, it will return to Frankfurt once more. The competition succeeded the Jocky Wilson Cup; a one-off international match between England and Scotland held in Glasgow on 5 December 2009. England defeated Scotland by 6 points to 0. (en)
- De PDC World Cup of Darts, ook wel Wereldbeker darts genoemd is een dartsevenement georganiseerd door de Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Het toernooi is het officieuze wereldkampioenschap voor landenteams voor spelers van de PDC. Aan het toernooi doen sinds 2014 tweeëndertig koppels van twee spelers mee (van 2010–2013 waren dit er vierentwintig). Het format is in de loop van de jaren enkele malen gewijzigd, maar het toernooi bestaat uit een knockoutronde, eventueel gecombineerd met een poulefase en een combinatie van gewone partijen en dubbelpartijen (waarin koppels om de beurt drie pijlen gooien). De finale van dit toernooi wordt sinds 2015 gespeeld met eerst twee enkelspelen, daarna een koppelwedstrijd en daarna eventueel nog twee enkelspelen, gespeeld op één dag. Degene die drie wedstrijden wint is de winnaar van het toernooi. (nl)
