- وسام نجمة سيناء هو أعلى وسام عسكري مصري ويعادل نجمة الشرف العسكرية، ويعطى من طبقتين، ويمنح لأي ضابط أو ضابط شرف أو مساعد أو ضابط صف أو جندي بالقوات المسلحة أدى أعمالا استثنائية خارقة في القتال المباشر مع العدو بمسرح العمليات تدل على بسالة نادرة وقدرة فذة وتفانٍ في الفداء ترتب عليها إلحاق خسائر فادحة بالعدو بإحباط خططه أو هزيمة قواته أو أسر وحداته أو تدمير مواقعه ومعداته أو الاستيلاء عليها سواء في البر أو البحر أو الجو خلال حرب أكتوبر أو ما سبقها. يمنح حامل الوسام ميدالية منقوشة بالذهب، بالإضافة إلى مكافأة شهرية اسثنائية ومعفاة من الضرائب تصل إلى عشرون ألف جنيه للطبقة الأولى وعشرة آلاف جنيه إذا كان من الطبقة الثانية، وتصرف له طوال فترة خدمته أو بعد التقاعد أو تصرف لصالح ورثته في حال منح الوسام لمن استشهد، بالإضافة إلى العديد من المميزات الأخرى. عدد الذين حصلوا عليه بطبقتيه الأولى والثانية 68 قائداً وضابطاً وجندياً، ومن أبرز الحاصلين عليها كان أبرز الحاصلين عليه المشير أحمد إسماعيل، القائد العام للقوات المسلحة أثناء حرب أكتوبر 1973، وتم منحه نجمة سيناء من الطبقة الأولى عام 1973م، والفريق سعد الدين الشاذلي عام 1973 من الطبقة الأولى وصودرت منه عام 1997 وأعادها المجلس الأعلى للقوات المسلحة لأسرته في 2011، ومن الجنود الرقيب أول مجند محمد عبد العاطي وهو أشهر الذين حصلوا على نجمة سيناء من الطبقة الثانية، والذي أطلق عليه صائد الدبابات لأنه دمر خلال أيام الحرب 23 دبابة بمفرده، كما حصل عليها أفراد من مجاهدي سيناء ومنهم الذي نال أيضاً نوط الامتياز. Založen byl roku 1972 a udílen je příslušníkům ozbrojených sil Egypta za činy mimořádné statečnosti a neohroženosti v přímém boji proti nepříteli během válečných operací, které tak ukazují na vzácné a jedinečné schopnosti k sebeobětování. The order is awarded to officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the Egyptian Armed Forces. A total of 68 officers and soldiers have been awarded the order. It was created in 1972, and it consists of a ribbon and a medal. The ribbon of the first and second degree consists of three horizontal lines, red, white, black, and an extra golden eagle is placed on the ribbon for first degree recipients. (en)
