- Nicos Baikas (griechisch Νίκος Μπάικας, * 1948 in Athen) ist ein griechischer Künstler. Bekannt wurde er in Deutschland als Teilnehmer an der documenta IX, 1992. Baikas bezweckt in seinem Schaffen eine Synthese von Wort und Bild, die Werke sind daher häufig in Schwarz-Weiß gehalten. Baikas studierte zuerst in Athen und später in Florenz an der Accademia delle Arti del Disegno. Als Künstler ist er seit 1977 tätig und wohnt in Kalamaki. (de)
- Nicos Baikas (born in Piraeus, 1948) is a Greek artist who lives and works in Athens. He started his art studies in 1967 at the Athens School of Fine Arts and later studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. He started exhibiting his works in the 1980s and achieved some notability in Germany after his participation in the Documenta 9 art exhibition, in 1992. His work is a synthesis of words and images, usually performed with pencil on paper in black and white. (en)
