- Mistra Battery (Maltese: Batterija tal-Mistra), formerly also known as Despirasse Battery (Maltese: Batterija ta' Despirasse), is an artillery battery in Mistra Bay, Mellieħa, Malta. It was built by the Order of Saint John in the 18th century as one of a series of coastal fortifications around the coasts of the Maltese Islands. The battery is considered as the best preserved of the Order's batteries in Malta, since it retains all of its original features. Many other batteries have been destroyed or otherwise modified, and very few have survived in their original state. (en)

Despirasse Battery) jest to bateria artyleryjska nad zatoką Mistra Bay, w Mellieħa na Malcie. Zbudowana została przez Zakon Joannitów w XVIII wieku jako jedna z serii nadbrzeżnych fortyfikacji dokoła Wysp Maltańskich. Bateria ta uznawana jest za najlepiej zachowaną z maltańskich baterii Zakonu, wciąż posiadając wszystkie oryginalne elementy. Wiele innych baterii zostało zburzonych lub w różnym stopniu zmodyfikowanych, i ledwie kilka przetrwało w oryginalnym stanie. (pl)
