Luke James Hannant (born 4 November 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL League Two club Colchester United. He spent his youth with Norwich City and Cambridge United, before embarking on a degree at Northumbria University. During his time as a student he played non-league football for Dereham Town and Team Northumbria. He helped Dareham to win the Eastern Counties League Premier Division championship title in 2012–13. He joined Gateshead in 2016, and after returning from a dual registration spell at South Shields managed to established himself in the first-team. He was signed by Port Vale in January 2018, before he made a return to Cambridge United in May 2019 and helped the club to win promotion out of League Two at the end of the 2020–21 season. H
