- Der Koshi Rajmarg (Nepali कोशी राजमार्ग; englisch Koshi Highway) ist eine Fernstraße im Osten Nepals, welche in der Provinz Nr. 1 den Distrikt Dhankuta mit den südlich gelegenen Teraigebieten verbindet. Die 197 km lange Überlandstraße führt von der indischen Grenze südlich von Biratnagar nach Norden. Der Koshi Rajmarg passiert Duhabi-Bhaluwa. Bei Itahari kreuzt der Mahendra Rajmarg die Fernstraße. Diese überquert anschließend die Bergketten des Vorderen Himalaya. Der Koshi Rajmarg verläuft durch Dharan. Später überquert die Fernstraße den Fluss Arun. Schließlich erreicht sie die Distrikthauptstadt Dhankuta und endet in Pakhribas. Von dort führt eine weitere Fernstraße nach Nordwesten zur Stadt Diktel. - Koshi Highway (Nepali: कोशी राजमार्ग) or H08 is a 390 km long planned highway located in Province No. 1 of Nepal. It is north-south highway which is understood to be shortest highway which connects India to China across the Himalayan mountains in Nepal. Rani at Biratnagar is starting point of the road which is connected to Jogbani in India and Kimathanka is the end point of the Koshi Highway, which is connected to Chinese town Chentang. Almost all track has been open on this corridor, only 14 km of track was remaining to open in 2021. The work was awarded to Nepal Army to open the remaining track though most of the portion of the road is not blacktopped yet. It is one of the major highways of Nepal. (en)
