- Justine-Juliette Lévy (Parigi, 4 settembre 1974) è una scrittrice francese. Justine-Juliette Lévy è la figlia maggiore di prime nozze del filosofo, scrittore e intellettuale francese Bernard-Henri Lévy. Vive a Parigi dove lavora come editor per un'importante casa editrice. Il suo primo romanzo è del 1995 Le rendez-vous (Incontro) ed è stato pubblicato in italiano dall'editore Frassinelli nel 2005. Nel 1996 sposa Raphaël Enthoven, figlio del miglior amico di suo padre. Il matrimonio entra quasi subito in crisi fino alla traumatica separazione: Enthoven la abbandona per la modella e cantante Carla Bruni. Profondamente segnata dalla disastrosa esperienza matrimoniale, Lévy ricorre alle anfetamine. Solo dopo alcuni anni rende pubblici i suoi problemi proprio attraverso il suo primo romanzo che è autobiografico. Nel 2004 esce in Francia il secondo romanzo Rien de Grave (Niente di grave) che attira subito l'attenzione dei media. Si aggiudica il e scala le classifiche europee dei bestseller fermandosi soltanto di fronte al super-bestseller The Da Vinci Code (Il codice Da Vinci). In Italia il libro viene tradotto nel 2005 sempre da Frassinelli. Nel 2006 esce una riedizione presso Sperling & Kupfer. Il suo attuale compagno è l'attore con il quale ha avuto due figli, una femmina ed un maschio. Justine Lévy è attualmente impegnata nella stesura del suo terzo romanzo. (it)

Hon bor i Paris med skådespelaren Patrick Mille, med vilken hon har två barn. Lévy debuterade 1995 med Vi ses på Place de la Sorbonne (på svenska på Forum 1996 och Sekwa 2011). Hennes andra roman, Rien de grave, kom 2004, och hennes tredje, En ovärdig dotter, 2009. Den sistnämnda kom på svenska 2012 (Sekwa). Lévys romaner är starkt självbiografiska, och både debuten och En ovärdig dotter handlar om hennes mor i olika skeden i livet. I Vi ses på Place de la Sorbonne sitter artonåriga Louise på ett kafé och väntar på sin mor, samtidigt som hon funderar över sin relation med modern. I En ovärdig dotter ser den vuxna Louise modern sakta dö i cancer, samtidigt som hon själv är gravid utan att förmå sig att tala om det för modern. (sv)
