- Jean-Baptiste Brulo (29 January 1746 in Ghent – ?) was a French ballet dancer, choreographer and ballet master, the son of the French dancers Jean-Baptiste Brulo and Marie-Thérèse Tabary. He danced at Bordeaux (1771–74) then at Montpellier (late 1790s), where his elder brother Mathias was ballet master and his nephew Philippe was theatre director. Brulo arrived at Stockholm in 1803 with his wife Catherine, at the same time as Filippo Taglioni. He became the Royal Swedish Ballet's premier danseur and choreographer, composing ballets for it. He left Sweden in January 1819 for Copenhagen, but the date and place of his death are unknown. (en)

Il est le fils de Jean-Baptiste Brulo et de Marie-Thérèse Tabary. Il danse à Bordeaux de 1771 à 1774, puis à Montpellier à la fin des années 1790, où son frère aîné Mathias est maître de ballet et son neveu Philippe est directeur du théâtre. Brulo arrive à Stockholm en 1803 avec sa femme Catherine, en même temps que Filippo Taglioni. Il devient premier danseur et chorégraphe, compose plusieurs ballets pour le Ballet royal suédois, et quitte la Suède en janvier 1819 pour Copenhague. On ignore le lieu et la date de sa mort. (fr)
