- Η Εκπαίδευση της ιαπωνικής γλώσσας στο Καζακστάν χρονολογείται από το 1992. Η έρευνα του Ιδρύματος Ιαπωνίας το 2006 έδειξε 51 καθηγητές που δίδασκαν τη γλώσσα σε 1.569 φοιτητές σε δεκατρία ιδρύματα στο Καζακστάν.
