- جميل عبد اللطيف البنا (من مواليد 28 مايو 1952) أردني من أصل فلسطيني ولد في أريحا بالضفة الغربية وهو لاجئ في المملكة المتحدة حيث كان يعيشون في شمال غرب لندن، قال إنه تعرض للخطف في نوفمبر تشرين الثاني عام 2002 من قبل وكالة المخابرات المركزية في غامبيا بينما كان في رحلة عمل، حيث نقل إلى قاعدة باغرام واُحتجز واستجوب من قبل وكالة المخابرات المركزية حتى مارس 2003. وبعد ذلك تم نقله إلى السجن العسكري في معسكر الاعتقال بخليج جوانتانامو مارس 2003 واحتجز هناك حتى 19 ديسمبر 2007. بعد الإفراج عنه وعودته إلى المملكة المتحدة، تم اعتقاله عند وصوله إلى لندن وأطلق سراحه بكفالة. - Jamil Abdul Latif el-Banna (Arabic: جميل عبد اللطيف البنا, Ǧamīl ʿAbdu 'l-Laṭīf al-Bannāʾ), born 28 May 1962, is a Jordanian of Palestinian origin, with refugee status in the United Kingdom, who had been living in north-west London. He was abducted in November 2002 by the CIA from The Gambia while on a business trip, and suffered extraordinary rendition to Bagram, Afghanistan, where he was held and interrogated by the CIA until March 2003. He was transferred to military custody at Guantanamo Bay detainment camp in March 2003, and held there until 19 December 2007. Following his release, and subsequent return to the United Kingdom, Jamil el-Banna was arrested and questioned when arriving in London, on charges by a Spanish court. He was allowed bail. Spain dropped its charges in March 2008. The Department of Defense reports that el-Banna was born on 28 May 1962, in Jericho, West Bank. (en)
