- The Internal Security Act 1960 (Malay: Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri 1960, abbreviated ISA) was a preventive detention law in force in Malaysia. The legislation was enacted after the Federation of Malaya gained independence from Britain in 1957. The ISA allows for detention without trial or criminal charges under limited, legally defined circumstances. On 15 September 2011, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak said that this legislation will be repealed and replaced by two new laws. The ISA was replaced and repealed by the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 which has been passed by Parliament and given the royal assent on 18 June 2012. The Act came into force on 31 July 2012. (en)
- 1960年内部安全法令（英語：Internal Security Act 1960），简称内安法令（ISA）。此法令的前身为1948年紧急条例（Emergency Regulations），其原來的功能是为了对付当时组织武装斗争和游击战的马来亚共产党党员。由于当时马共多从事地下活动，英国殖民政府要收集证据对付他们往往是件困难的事，因此就实施内安法令，允许执法者在未经审讯的情况下扣留任何“危害国家安全”的人。內安法令的宗旨是：“由于国內外，有大批人士已採取行动，並且威胁进一步行动：1.对人命和财物进行有组织的暴力行动，同时也使到为数相当多的公民担忧这类有组织的暴力会发生；2.以不合法手段，设法改换马来西亚的合法政府，而这些行动危害到马来西亚的安全，国会认为有必要阻止或预防这类行动发生，所以，根据《马来西亚联邦宪法》第149条，通过了这项法令。” (zh)
