- Henri "Harry" Gerard Vriend (born 20 May 1938) is a former water polo player from the Netherlands, who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics; in both games he finished in eighth position with the Dutch Men's Team. His brother Wim played alongside Harry at the 1964 games. On 4 October 1963, Vriend married the Dutch swimmer Lenie de Nijs. He subsequently became a water polo coach and served as the head coach of the men's national team. Vriend later worked for NOS Studio Sport, a Dutch TV program, as a commentator. (en)
- Henri (Harry) Gerard Vriend (Amsterdam, 20 mei 1938) is een voormalig Nederlandse waterpolospeler. Harry Vriend nam als waterpoloër deel aan de Olympische Spelen van 1960 en 1964. Hij eindigde hiermee met het Nederlands team respectievelijk op een zevende en achtste plaats. In 1964 maakte zijn broer Wim Vriend ook deel uit van de Olympische ploeg. In de competitie speelde Vriend onder andere voor Het Y uit Amsterdam. Na zijn actieve waterpolo-carrière is hij trainer/coach geworden bij onder andere De Zijl-LGB en HZC De Robben. In de jaren zeventig is hij tevens bondscoach geweest bij de Nederlandse mannen. Daarnaast werkte hij voor NOS Studio Sport als zwem en waterpolo-commentator. Hij was tevens leraar lichamelijke opvoeding op het Alkwin Kollege in Uithoorn. Vriend trouwde in 1963 met zwemster Lenie de Nijs. (nl)
