The first half of each episode centres on the work-side, the second half on the home-side of the storyline.Actress Rhian Blythe won a BAFTA Cymru Best Actress award for her role in the 2014 series of the show. Siw Hughes was nominated for the same award. Series 6, featuring mostly all new characters at a new school, started broadcast on 20 January 2016, with Series 7, directly continuing the story, starting on 7 September 2016. Series 8 was broadcast from 11 January 2017 to March 2017.
