- Captain George Everard Gibbons MC, DFC (15 February 1896 – 20 March 1923) was a British World War I flying ace credited with 18 aerial victories gained while flying a Bristol F.2 Fighter in 1918. Both of his observers, Sidney Knights and Thomas Elliott, also became aces flying with him. Gibbons' final tally consisted of three enemy aircraft destroyed by fire, five others destroyed, and ten driven down out of control. (en)

Odznaczony Military Cross oraz Distinguished Flying Cross. George Everard Gibbons pierwsze zwycięstwo powietrzne odniósł 12 marca 1918 roku nad niemieckim samolotem Fokker Dr.I w okolicach Nauroy. 17 maja w okolicach Armentières razem z obserwatorem odnieśli potrójne zwycięstwo powietrzne uszkadzając trzy samoloty Albatros D.V. 28 maja odnieśli kolejne podwójne zwycięstwo. 10 czerwca w czasie lotu Knights został ranny. Gibbons rozpoczął loty z innym obserwatorem , z który służyli razem do września 1918 roku odnosząc razem dziewięć zwycięstw powietrznych. Wszystkie zwycięstwa Gibbons odniósł na samolocie Bristol F.2 Fighter. Od września Gibbons został przeniesiony do Wilkeij Brytanii do Home Establishment. (pl)
