- The Men's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, formerly known as the Hockey Junior World Cup, is an international field hockey competition organized by the International Hockey Federation (FIH). The tournament was started in 1979. Since 1985 it has been held every four years.With the exception of the 2021 tournament,competitors must be under the age of 21 as of December 31 in the year before the tournament is held. There is also a corresponding event for the women's junior teams. This competition started in 1989 and uses the same format as the men's event. Five countries have dominated the event's history. Germany is the most successful team, having won the tournament six times followed by Argentina and India, having won the tournament two times. Australia and have each won the tournament once. The 2009 Junior World Cup was held jointly between Malaysia and Singapore, with Germany defeating the Netherlands 3–1 in the final. The 2013 tournament was held in India from 2 to 17 November 2013. Germany won the final for record 6th time defeating France 5–2. France claimed their first-ever medal in the tournament winning silver after losing to Germany. The 2016 edition was held between 8–18 December 2016 in Lucknow, India, with India defeating Belgium 2–1 in the final. India also became the first host nation to win the Junior World Cup. India are also the first and only nation to win any type of medal in junior world cup as a host. (en)

Le tournoi a débuté en 1979. Depuis 1985, il a lieu tous les quatre ans. Les concurrents doivent être âgés de moins de 21 ans au 31 décembre de l'année précédant la tenue du tournoi. Il y a aussi un événement correspondant pour les . Cette compétition a débuté en 1989 et utilise le même format que l'épreuve masculine. Cinq pays ont dominé l'histoire de l'événement. L' est l'équipe la plus titrée, ayant remporté le tournoi six fois, suivie de l', ayant remporté le tournoi deux fois. L', le et l' ont chacun remporté le tournoi une fois. Le tournoi 2009 a eu lieu conjointement entre la Malaisie et Singapour, l' battant les 3-1 en finale. Le tournoi 2013 s'est déroulé en Inde du 2 au 17 novembre 2013. L' a remporté la finale pour la 6e fois, un record, en battant la 5-2. La France a remporté sa toute première médaille dans le tournoi en remportant l'argent après avoir perdu contre l'. L'édition 2016 a eu lieu du 8 au 18 décembre 2016 à Lucknow, en Inde, l' battant la Belgique 2-1 en finale. L'Inde est également devenue le premier pays hôte à remporter la Coupe du monde des moins de 21 ans. Hockey Junior World Cup) — международное соревнование сборных команд по хоккею на траве, проводящееся под эгидой Международной федерации хоккея на траве (FIH) с 1979 года. Сначала проводилось раз в три года, начиная с 1985 проводится раз в четыре года. Возраст игроков должен быть максимально 21 год (по состоянию на 31 декабря года, предшествующего году проведения чемпионата). С 1989 года и в аналогичном формате проводится чемпионат для женских молодёжных команд. Наиболее успешно в розыгрышах чемпионата выступали 5 сборных команд: сборная Германии выиграла чемпионат 5 раз, сборные Аргентины, Австралии, Индии и Пакистана — по одному разу (по состоянию на декабрь 2014). Обычно чемпионат проводится в одной стране; лишь один раз (в 2009) чемпионат проводили совместно две страны — Малайзия и Сингапур. (ru)
