- La II edición del Festival de Eurovisión de Jóvenes Músicos se celebró en el Victoria Hall de Ginebra (Suiza) el 22 de mayo de 1984. Músicos de 7 países participaron en la segunda edición de este certamen. La Orquesta de la Suisse Romande fue la encargada de acompañar a los participantes bajo la dirección de Horst Stein. La ganadora de este año fue Isabelle Van Keulen, la representante de Países Bajos tocando el violín. (es)

- The Eurovision Young Musicians 1984 was the second edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians, held at the Victoria Hall in Geneva, Switzerland on 22 May 1984. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR), musicians who could be no older than 19 years of age, from seven countries participated in the televised final hosted by Georges Kleinmann. They were all accompanied by the Roman Swiss Orchestra, conducted by Horst Stein. Finland and Netherlands made their début, while Norway withdrew from competition. The Netherlands's Isabelle van Keulen won the contest, with Finland and the United Kingdom placing second and third respectively. (en)
- Le Concours Eurovision des jeunes musiciens 1984 fut la deuxième édition de ce concours. La finale fut organisée au Victoria Hall à Genève, en Suisse le 22 mai 1984, et fut présentée par Georges Kleinmann. Des jeunes musiciens de 7 pays participèrent à la finale télévisée de cette édition. Ils furent tous accompagnés par l'orchestre de la Suisse romande, sous la direction de Horst Stein. Pour sa première apparition, les Pays-Bas remporte le titre avec un concerto pour violon joué par Isabelle Van Keulen et composé par le violoniste belge du XIXe siècle, Henri Vieuxtemps. Le pianiste scandinave Olli Mustonen termine à la seconde place et la clarinettiste britannique Emma Johnson complète le podium. (fr)

Музыканты из Финляндии и Великобритании заняли второе и третье место соответственно. Организаторами конкурса выступили Швейцарская вещательная корпорация и Европейский вещательный союз.
