- Kongregace Milosrdných sester svatého Vincence de Paul (někdy psáno také z Pauly, z Paula, též milosrdné sestry, vincentky, latinsky Societas Filiarum Caritatis a S. Vincentio de Paulo, nebo zkráceně Puellae Caritatis, francouzsky Compagnie des Filles de la Charité, zkratka FdC) je ženská katolická kongregace apoštolského života, jejímž posláním je péče o seniory, děti, dlouhodobě nemocné, tělesně a duševně trpící. Sestry působí v řadě zemí světa. Od 20. dubna 2020 je matkou představenou Françoise Petitová, DC. Kongregace náleží do širší vincentiniánské rodiny. Sestry se dříve česky nazývaly vincentinky, v současnosti jsou jednoslovně označovány jako vincentky, stejně jako jiné řeholnice náležející do této rodiny, , která v Česku působila ve Staré Boleslavi. Its members make annual vows throughout their life, which leaves them always free to leave, without the need of ecclesiastical permission. They were founded in 1633 and state that they are devoted to serving the poor through the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. They have been popularly known in France as "the Grey Sisters" from the color of their traditional religious habit, which was originally grey, then bluish grey. The 1996 publication The Vincentian Family Tree presents an overview of related communities from a genealogical perspective. They use the initials DC after their names. - De Dochters van Liefde van Vincentius a Paulo die soms ook eenvoudigweg worden aangeduid met de naam Dochters van Liefde, of Liefdeszusters vormen een Gemeenschap van apostolisch leven binnen de Katholieke Kerk. De gemeenschap is gewijd aan de Heilige Vincentius a Paulo, die – samen met de Heilige Louise Legras-de Marillac – ook geldt als de oprichter van deze gemeenschap. De gemeenschap is vanaf haar oprichting toegewijd aan de zorg voor armen. Als oprichtingsdatum geldt 1633. In 1660, toen beide Heiligen overleden, kende de gemeenschap in Parijs en omgeving al veertig zusterhuizen. Het moederhuis van de gemeenschap staat nog steeds in Parijs, aan de Rue du Bac, maar de Liefdeszusters hebben sinds de negentiende eeuw huizen over de gehele wereld. Tot 1964 droegen de zusters een speciale kap van wit linnen, die in dat jaar werd vervangen door een lichtblauwe hoofddoek. De gemeenschap heeft over de gehele wereld zieken- en verzorgingshuizen en opvang voor armen en daklozen gesticht. In de Verenigde Staten richtte de Heilige Elizabeth Ann Seton in 1809 een eigen congregatie op, die geheel volgens de regels van de Liefdeszusters vorm kreeg. In Nederland vormen de Zusters van Liefde van Jezus en Maria, Moeder van Goede Bijstand in Schijndel een door Vincentius a Paulo's ideeën bezielde zustercongregatie. É a primeira congregação religiosa feminina católica a ter vida apostólica; até então existia, para as freiras, apenas a vida claustral. O carisma fundamental das Filhas da Caridade é o serviço aos pobres: nos hospitais, nas escolas, nas paróquias, nos campos de batalha, aos doentes mentais, às crianças abandonadas, às mulheres marginalizadas, às pessoas idosas, e outros. Utilizavam, antigamente, um hábito distinto, que possuía uma espécie de "chapéu" chamado de corneta que se assemelha a uma gaivota no seu bater de asas, um semelhante hábito é usado atualmente pelas Irmãs Julianas. A Companhia está presente e atuante nos 5 Continentes, organizada em 79 Províncias e Regiões. Possui mais de 2424 casas, somando um contingente de mais de 21 000 religiosas. (pt)
