- Dahieh —en àrab الضاحية الجنوبية, aḍ-Ḍāḥiya al-Janūbiyya, ‘Suburbi del Sud'; en francès: Banlieue Sud de Beyrouth, Dâhiye de Beyrouth— és un suburbi de Beirut, poblat predominantment per musulmans xiïtes, situat al i format per diverses ciutats i municipis. També hi ha present una minoria de musulmans sunnites que hi conviuen. Al suburbi s'hi trobat ubicat un camp de refugiats palestí que té 20,000 habitants. Situat al nord de l'Aeroport Internacional Beirut-Rafic Hariri, la carretera de l'aeroport el creua. Es tracta d'una àrea residencial, així com econòmica, amb botigues i centres comercials. En el districte s'hi agrupen molts mercats autòctons (socs). També és el feu del grup islàmic xiïta Hesbol·là a l'àrea metropolitana de Beirut, on té gran implantació a , i , on el grup reuneix els seus seguidors en ocasions especials. (ca)

- Dahieh (Arabic: الضاحية الجنوبية, lit. 'the southern suburb', French: Banlieue Sud de Beyrouth, Dâhiye de Beyrouth) is a predominantly Shia Muslim suburb, located south of Beirut, in the Baabda District of Lebanon. It is composed of several towns and municipalities. There is also a minority of coexisting Sunni Muslims, and a Palestinian refugee camp which has 20,000 inhabitants. It is located north of the Rafic Hariri International Airport, with the M51 Freeway that links Beirut to the Airport passing through it. Prior to the 2006 Lebanon War, Dahieh was a residential and commercial area with malls, stores and souks. Dahieh is the Beirut stronghold of Shia militant group Hezbollah, and it had large auditoria in Haret Hreik, Hadath and Bourj el-Barajneh, where Hezbollah followers gathered during special occasions. - Dahieh Janoubyé (en arabe : الضاحية الجنوبية, faubourgs sud) est un faubourg a majorité chiite de Beyrouth au Liban. Sur le plan administratif, il fait partie intégrante du district de Baabda. 500 000 habitants y vivent. Il est situé au nord de l'aéroport international Rafic-Hariri. C'est une zone résidentielle avec une zone commerciale importante. Dans ce quartier se trouve le quartier général du Hezbollah, principale milice libanaise obédience chiite, ainsi que la maison de son leader Hassan Nasrallah. Pendant le conflit israélo-libanais de juillet 2006, la banlieue fut bombardée tous les jours. En effet, une grande partie de ses bâtiments furent détruits à ras le sol, ou endommagés. Ses zones les plus touchées furent Bir el-Abd, Mouaawwad, Sfeir, Burj El Barajneh, Chiyah, Hayy es-Sellomm, et surtout Haret Hreik où se trouve le « carré de sécurité » du Hezbollah (où se trouvent tous les bureaux des ministres du parti, ainsi que ses associations) qui fut complètement rasé (environ 100 immeubles dont la maison de Hassan Nasrallah). Under Libanonkriget 2006 drabbades bostadsområden i Dahieh av stor förstörelse efter dagliga bombningar av den israeliska försvarsmakten.
