- Hernando Alfonso Prada Gil (born 6 October 1963) is a Colombian lawyer, university professor and politician. He has served as Colombia's minister of the interior since August 2022. He was the Private Secretary of the political leader, later assassinated, Luis Carlos Galán during his presidential campaign for the New Liberalism movement. Years later, he served as Councilor of Bogotá for three periods since 1998 with the endorsement of the Liberal Party where his colleagues named him the best Councilor of Bogotá on three occasions based on the evaluation carried out by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, the newspaper El Tiempo and the Corona Foundation. In 2010, he was launched as a representative to the Chamber for the capital of the country with the endorsement of the Green Party, in the period between 2010 and 2014, at which time he was also highlighted by his colleagues and by the RCN Channel as the best Representative to the Chamber of Colombia in 2010. In 2014 he coordinated the re-election campaign of Juan Manuel Santos in Bogotá. Later, that same year, he was appointed as Director of SENA where he stood out for promoting the internationalization of the entity, achieving international distinctions such as the 2015 Tech Challenge Innovation Fund, delivered by the Government of Barack Obama at the White House. In March 2017 he was appointed as Secretary General of the Presidency by President Juan Manuel Santos. - Hernando Alfonso Prada Gil (Bogotá, 6 de octubre de 1963) es un abogado, profesor universitario y político colombiano. Es el ministro del Interior y portavoz oficial del gobierno de Colombia, desde el 7 de agosto de 2022, en el Gobierno de Gustavo Petro. Fue Secretario Privado del líder político, posteriormente asesinado, Luis Carlos Galán durante su campaña presidencial por el movimiento Nuevo Liberalismo. Años después fungió como Concejal de Bogotá durante tres períodos desde 1998 con el aval del Partido Liberal donde sus compañeros lo designaron como el mejor Concejal de Bogotá en tres ocasiones a partir de la evaluación realizada por la Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, el diario El Tiempo y la Fundación Corona. En 2010 se lanzó como representante a la Cámara por la capital de país con el aval del Partido Verde, en el periodo comprendido entre 2010 y 2014, momento en el cual también fue destacado por sus compañeros y por el Canal RCN como mejor Representante a la Cámara de Colombia en el 2010. En 2014 coordinó en Bogotá la campaña reeleccionista de Juan Manuel Santos. Posteriormente, ese mismo año, fue nombrado como Director del SENA donde se destacó por impulsar la internacionalización de la entidad, logrando distinciones internacionales como el del Fondo de Innovación Reto Tech 2015, entregado por el Gobierno de Barack Obama en la Casa Blanca. En marzo de 2017 fue designado como Secretario General de la Presidencia por el presidente Juan Manuel Santos.
