- Les eleccions municipals de València de 2015 van ser les X eleccions del període democràtic, se celebraren del 24 de maig de 2015. Els votants van triar els 33 regidors que compondrien el ple de la Consell Municipal de València. Amb una participació del 72,11%, les eleccions van ser guanyades pel Partit Popular amb el 25,71% dels vots i 10 escons enfront del 23,28% dels vots i 9 escons de la Coalició Compromís. A més, altres tres candidatures van obtindre representació en la cambra municipal, entrant per primera vegada Ciutadans i València en Comú amb 6 y 3 escons respectivament. Pel que fa a Esquerra Unida del País Valencià, que en aquesta ocasió es presentava sota la marca Acord Ciutadà juntament amb Esquerra Republicana del País Valencià i altres partits menors, amb un 4,71% dels vots va quedar fora de l'Ajuntament de València. - The 2015 Valencia City Council election, also the 2015 Valencia municipal election, was held on Sunday, 24 May 2015, to elect the 10th City Council of the municipality of Valencia. All 33 seats in the City Council were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with regional elections in thirteen autonomous communities and local elections all throughout Spain. The unveiling of a string of corruption scandals during the 2011–2015 period involving the party in power, coupled with allegations of abuse of power and perceived poor management of the economic situation, had taken its toll in the ruling People's Party (PP), which went on to suffer a dramatic decline, losing over half of its vote share and city councillors and scoring its worst result since 1991. The scope of the PP collapse was such that incumbent mayor Rita Barberá was quoted saying "¡Qué hostia!" amid tears (Spanish for "What a smack!") after learning of the results in election night. As a result, the election turned into a surprisingly close race with the Valencianist coalition Compromís, which scored a strong second place. The Socialist Party of the Valencian Country (PSPV–PSOE), unable to capitalize on the PP losses, continued its long-term decline and fell to fourth place, with its votes being drawn away to both Compromís and newly created Podemos-led Valencia in Common coalition. Centrist Citizens (C's), contesting a Valencian municipal election for the first time, turned into the third political force through its capture of disenchanted PP voters, while historical United Left of the Valencian Country (EUPV), standing within the Acord Ciutadà coalition (Valencian for "Citizen Agreement"), failed to achieve enough votes to win seats on the local assembly. As a result of the election, with the PP unable to command a majority of seats in the city council even with the support of C's, Barberá was ousted from office after 24 years of government, being succeeded by Compromís candidate Joan Ribó. The 2015 election marked the end of the two decade-long PP political dominance over both the city and the whole of the Valencian Community, losing control over the regional government, all provincial capitals and most major cities in the region to left-wing coalitions and alliances. - Las elecciones municipales de 2015 se celebraron en Valencia el domingo 24 de mayo, de acuerdo con el Real Decreto de convocatoria de elecciones locales en España dispuesto el 30 de marzo de 2015 y publicado en el Boletín Oficial del Estado el día 31 de marzo. Se eligieron los 33 concejales del pleno del Ayuntamiento de Valencia a través de un sistema proporcional (método d'Hondt) con listas cerradas y un umbral electoral de 5 %. (es)
- Les élections municipales espagnoles ont lieu le 24 mai 2015 à Valence. Le Parti populaire (PP) perd sa majorité absolue au conseil municipal, divisant par deux son nombre de conseillers, mais conservant la première place. À gauche, la Coalition Compromís dépasse le Parti socialiste (PSOE) en termes de voix et de sièges, devenant la première force de gauche au conseil. À noter également l'entrée fracassante du nouveau parti libéral Ciudadanos, qui décroche la troisième place dès son premier scrutin municipal à Valence, et de la liste Valence en commun (VALC), soutenue par Podemos, qui remplace la Gauche unie au conseil municipal, dont l'alliance, Accord citoyen, ne parvient pas à préserver ses deux sièges, obtenus au dernier scrutin. Malgré ces retournements, ce sont les partis de gauche (Compromís, PSOE et VALC) qui s'emparent de la majorité absolue des sièges, permettant à Joan Ribó, tête de liste de Compromís, de prendre la mairie, succédant à la maire sortante, Rita Barberá, du Parti populaire, qui tentait d'être réélue pour un septième mandat.
