Svimon (Georgian: სვიმონი; 9 November 1683 – 27 January 1740) was a Georgian prince royal (batonishvili) of the Bagrationi dynasty of House of Mukhrani of Kartli and a natural son of Levan of Kartli by an unknown concubine. Svimon ruled Kartli as a regent from 1712 to 1714 during the absence of his half-brother Vakhtang VI at the Safavid court in Iran. Afterwards, he switched sides between Vakhtang and his renegade sibling Jesse and ended up in exile in the Russian Empire as part of Vakhtang's entourage.

  • Simon Bagration de Moukhran (né le 3 février 1683, mort le 24 janvier 1740 à Saint-Pétersbourg ; en géorgien : სიმონ ბაგრატიონ-მუხრანელი), parfois nommé Simon III de Karthli est un prince, homme politique et militaire géorgien du XVIIIe siècle. Membre de la famille des Bagrations de Moukhran, elle-même une branche cadette de la dynastie des Bagrations qui règne sur la Géorgie depuis le IXe siècle, il est l'un des fils cadet de Léon Bagration de Moukhran et de la princesse Tinatine Avalichvili. Élevé en exil en Géorgie occidentale durant le gouvernement d'Héraclius Ier en Karthli, il retourne à Tiflis quand son oncle Georges XI est restauré sur le trône en 1703. De 1704 à 1712, il est proche conseiller de son frère Vakhtang VI, qui administre le royaume de Karthli au nom des rois Georges XI (fr)
