Adolf Edward Herstein (ur. 1869 w Warszawie, zm. 1932 w Berlinie) – polski malarz i miedziorytnik, czynny we Francji, Niemczech i Polsce. W Monachium studiował malarstwo w prywatnej szkole Antona Ažbe, gdzie poznał niemiecką arystokratkę Fanny zu Reventlow (1871–1918). W roku 1893 stał się przedmiotem sensacji, gdy nawiązał z nią romans. Gdy Fanny zaszła w ciążę, odmówił uznania ojcostwa i namówił Fanny na małżeństwo z rozsądku z pruskim politykiem Walterem Lübke (1861–1930). W Berlinie był członkiem stowarzyszenia Berliner Secession. W latach 1904–1911 był właścicielem prywatnej szkoły malarstwa w Warszawie. Jednym z jego uczniów był Roman Kramsztyk. Herstein malował obrazy olejne w technice impasto. An engraving of his, called 'The Standard Bearer', is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), New York. There are two works from the years 1914-5 held by the Brooklyn Museum, New York. In the years 1904–1911 he was the owner of a private school of painting in Warsaw. One of his pupils was Roman Kramsztyk. Herstein died in Berlin.
