Ángel Custodio Quintana Lineros (October 2, 1865 – August 12, 1929) was a Chilean lawyer and public servant. Quintana Lineros was born in Loncomilla. His parents were Juan José Quintana Araya and María Lorenza Lineros Sotomayor. Their studies began at the Liceo of Linares, followed at the and ended at the Instituto Nacional. He studied law at the University of Chile and qualified as a lawyer on April 19, 1888. Addicted to literature, he belonged to several societies of belles lettres, including being a corresponding member of the Luis Miguel Amunátegui Literary Circle in 1888.

Hizo sus estudios de humanidades en el (actual Liceo Abate Molina) y en el Instituto Nacional. Cursó leyes en la Universidad y obtuvo su título de abogado el 19 de abril de 1888. Adicto a la literatura como hombre de estudio, ha pertenecido a varias sociedades de bellas letras, habiendo sido socio corresponsal del en 1888.​ En este mismo año fue nombrado secretario y procurador de la Municipalidad de San Javier de Loncomilla. En dicha ciudad sirvió el puesto de capitán ayudante de la brigada cívica. En 1889 se le nombró miembro de la Junta de Vigilancia de Prisiones. En 1891, fue nombrado notario público y conservador de bienes raíces, cargo que desempeñó hasta el derrocamiento del Presidente Balmaceda por la revolución del Congreso. En este año fue elegido regidor de la Municipalidad de San Javier.​ Durante el curso de la revolución, sirvió como secretario del consejo de guerra que sentenció a la pena de muerte a los montoneros de Putagan, cuyo cadalso se levantó en la el 20 de agosto. La montonera de Putagan intentó volar el puente del ferrocarril para impedir que la división militar de Concepción se encontrase en las batallas de Concón y Placilla. El señor Quintana fue tenazmente perseguido por la revolución triunfante, siendo absuelto por la Corte de Apelaciones de Talca. En 1892 fue elegido director del del departamento de Loncomilla y secretario del directorio de esa colectividad. En 1893 se le eligió regidor del municipio de ese departamento. En 1895 fue renovada su elección en el directorio del partido liberal-democrático. En 1896 fue delegado del departamento de Loncomilla ante la Convención del partido liberal-democrático que se celebró en Talca, y en la que se reorganizó el liberalismo derrocado del poder por la revolución de 1891. En 1896 fue elegido primer alcalde de la comuna de San Javier.​ (es)

In 1889 he was appointed member of the Supervisory Board of Prisons (Junta de Vigilancia de Prisiones). In 1891 he was appointed notary public and register of deeds, a position he held until the overthrow of President José Manuel Balmaceda in the 1891 Chilean Civil War. This year he was elected alderman of the Municipality of San Javier. During the course of the Civil War, Quintana served as secretary of the military court that sentenced the Putagán montoneros to death, who had tried to blow up the railway bridge to prevent the Concepción military division from reaching the battles of Concón and Placilla. He was doggedly pursued by the victorious revolutionaries, and was acquitted by the Court of Appeals of Talca. In 1892, he was elected director of the Liberal-Democratic Party of the Department of Loncomilla and secretary of the board of that community. In 1893 he was elected alderman of the municipality in that department. In 1895, he was reelected director of his party. In 1896, he was Loncomilla's delegate to the Liberal-Democratic Party Convention in Talca, in which the liberalism that had been forced from power in the Civil War was restored.
