- The Zugurma Game Reserve is a section of the Kainji National Park, in the Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State, Nigeria.It is bordered by the to the northwest and the to the north, and covers an area of 138,500 hectares.It was amalgamated with the Borgu Game Reserve in 1975 to form the Kainji Lake National Park. The reserve consists of a low plateau with gradually sloping sides forming an east to west watershed.It is poorly drained, with no tributaries running into the Manyara River, and with the Yampere and Lanser rivers running only seasonally. The vegetation is typically Guinea savanna woodland, but has been badly over-grazed except for riparian forests along the Manyara River and other water holes.The reserve has received virtually no research attention. - A Reserva de caça de Zugurma é uma seção do Parque nacional de Kainji, na Área de governo local do Níger (estado), Nigéria.É limitada pelo ao noroeste e ao norte, e abrange uma área de 138.500 hectares.Foi amalgamado com a Reserva de caça de Borgu em 1975 para formar o Parque Nacional do Lago Kainji. A reserva consiste em um planalto baixo com lados gradualmente inclinados formando uma bacia hidrográfica leste-oeste. Está mal drenado, sem afluentes correndo para o rio Manyara, e com os rios Yampere e Lanser correndo apenas sazonalmente. A vegetação é tipicamente , mas tem sido mal pastoreado, exceto para florestas ribeirinhas ao longo do rio Manyara e outros buracos de água.A reserva não recebeu praticamente nenhuma atenção de pesquisa.
