It is regarding the statutory interpretation of 28 U.S.C. § 1782 and whether a private commercial arbitral tribunal constitutes as a "foreign or international tribunal" under 28 U.S.C. § 1782(a) and gives federal districts courts the authority to compel testimony or documents, subject to their jurisdiction, for such tribunals. In a unanimous decision, the court ruled that private adjudication bodies overseas are not considered a "foreign or international tribunal" under 28 U.S.C. § 1782(a). (en)
