Elle a remporté de nombreux prix pour son travail, parmi lesquels la Bourse Ingeborg Bachman en 1997, créée par Anselm Kiefer, et obtenu le prix de l'Art israélien en 1999, décerné par la Fondation Nathan Gottesdiener et le musée des beaux-arts de Tel Aviv. Yehudit Sasportas a représenté Israël pour la 52e édition de la Biennale de Venise en 2007 avec son installation « Les Gardiens du Seuil ».
