- يعقوب الغصين (وُلد في عام 1899 في الرملة - تُوفي في عام 1947 في القدس) سياسي فلسطيني ومؤسس تنظيم مؤتمر الشباب العربي. تخرج في القانون من جامعة كامبريدج. انتخب الغصين رئيسا للمؤتمر الوطني الأول للشباب العربي، الذي عقد في يافا في يناير 1932. كان عضوا وممثلا لحزبه في اللجنة العربية العليا في عام 1936. في عام 1937 كان عضوا في المجلس الإسلامي الأعلى. في 1 أكتوبر 1937، تم نفيه من قبل البريطانيين إلى جزر سيشل لكونه عضوًا في اللجنة العربية العليا، التي حظرها البريطانيون في 27 سبتمبر 1937، بعد اغتيال مفوض منطقة الجليل البريطاني بالإنابة، لويس يلاند أندروز. في فبراير 1939، كان عضوا في الوفد الفلسطيني إلى مؤتمر لندن في قصر سانت جيمس. أعاد الغصين تشكيل فصيله في عام 1945. - Yaqub Al-Ghusayn, (1899-1947) est un Palestinien propriétaire foncier à Ramla et le fondateur du (en)). Il est diplômé en droit de l'université de Cambridge. Ghusayn a été élu président du premier Parti du congrès de la jeunesse, tenu à Jaffa en janvier 1932. Il était membre et représentant de son parti au Haut Comité arabe à sa formation en 1936. En 1937 il a été un membre du (en). Le 1er octobre de la même année, il a été exilé par les Britanniques aux Seychelles pour avoir été un membre du Haut Comité arabe, lequel a été dissous par les Britanniques. Il a aussi fait partie de la délégation de Palestiniens présents à la conférence de Londres au palais Saint James en février 1939 au côté de Moussa al-Alami.Ghusayn a reconstitué sa faction en 1945. Il est mort à Jérusalem le 27 décembre 1947. Il a été marié à Thuriya Nuseibeh, ensemble ils ont eu 11 enfants.

- Yaqub al-Ghussein (Arabic: يعقوب الغصين, Ya‘qoub al Ghussein) (1899-1948) was a Palestinian landowner from Ramla and founder of the Youth Congress Party. He graduated in law from the University of Cambridge. Ghussein was elected president of the first National Congress of Arab Youth, held in Jaffa in January 1932. He was a member and representative of his party in the Arab Higher Committee from its formation in 1936. In 1937 he was a member of the Supreme Muslim Council. On 1 October of the same year he was exiled by the British to the Seychelles Islands for being a member of the Arab Higher Committee, which was outlawed by the British on 27 September 1937, following the assassination of the Acting British District Commissioner of Galilee, Lewis Yelland Andrews. He was a member of the Palestinian delegation to the London Conference at St. James's Palace in February 1939. Ghussein reconstituted his faction in 1945. He died in Jerusalem on 27 December 1948.
