- Wilberforce William Chukudinka Echezona (18 de agosto de 1926) es un musicólogo nigeriano y un docente pionero de música en las universidades nigerianas. He was the first Igbo man to be educated at London's Trinity College of Music, and the first African to obtain a degree in music education in the United States, where he received a PhD from Michigan State University in 1963. He taught at secondary school level in Nigeria and later at the department of Music at the University of Nigeria.
