- Wanda Quilhot (n.1929) es una bióloga chilena, reconocida por su trabajo de investigación en liquenología. Fue una de las primeras científicas a las que se permitió participar en investigaciones en la Antártida con el Consejo Internacional para la Ciencia, donde realizó investigaciones a partir de 1963. Tres especies de líquenes, Menegazzia wandae, Pseudocyphellaria wandae y Strigula wandae han sido nombradas en su honor. El Grupo Latinoamericano de Liquenología ha creado un premio en su nombre para reconocer la excelencia en la investigación en el campo de la liquenología. (es)
- Wanda Quilhot (born 1929) is a Chilean biologist, most noted for her work in lichenology. She was among the first women scientists allowed to participate in research in Antarctica with the International Council for Science (ICSU), conducting research there beginning in 1963. Three lichen species Menegazzia wandae, Pseudocyphellaria wandae, and Strigula wandae have been named in her honor. The Latin American Group of Lichenology has created a prize in her name to recognize research excellence in the field of lichenology. (en)
