- وجدي عبد الحميد محمد غنيم (مواليد 8 فبراير 1951م) بمحافظة الإسكندرية، داعية إسلامي مصري ومن أقطاب جماعة الإخوان المسلمين في مصر، لكنه جمد عضويته بها في 2017م،متزوج وله 7 أولاد. خرج من مصر بحكم قضائي لأداء فريضة الحج في 2001م وأقام في عدة دول منها جنوب أفريقيا حيث كان الأمن المصري يتتبع خطواته هناك، ثم ذهب بعد ذلك إلى اليمن من أجل الحصول على إقامة دائمة وكفر الرئيس الأسبق محمد حسني مبارك لغلقه المعابر عن أهل غزة وتهنئته إسرائيل بالذكرى الستون لإقامة الدولة العبرية، أُبعد من البحرين عام 2008م بسبب موقفه من الكويت في حرب العراق إلى جنوب أفريقيا. سافر إلى عدة بلدان منها إنجلترا التي أُخرج منها ومُنع من الدخول إليها بتهمة التحريض على الإرهاب، وقد رحل إلى اليمن ومن ثم غادرها ورحل إلى ماليزيا من غير نفي أو أي قرار ترحيل من أي جهة معينة ولكنه صرح في مقابلات له أنه لا يريد أن يحرج الحكومة اليمنية معه، وقد أفتى بكفر وردة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي وتم الحكم عليه بالإعدام مرتين والسجن المؤبد مرة. كما منع من دخول تونس بعد تكفيره لرئيسها الباجي قايد السبسي بعد تشريعه قانون لمساواة الميراث وإباحة زواج المسلمة بغير المسلم. - Wagdy Abd El Hamied Mohamed Ghoneim (Arabic: وجدي عبد الحميد محمد غنيم), normally shortened to Wagdy Ghoneim (born 8 February 1951) is an Egyptian Muslim imam and writer. He was imam at the Islamic Institute of Orange County, California, in the United States, until 2005. He was a fundraiser for the Toledo, Ohio based Hamas charity KindHearts. In January 2005, Ghoneim left the US for Qatar, following his arrest for violating his immigration status. Bail was refused over concerns that his previous speeches and fund raising might have supported organisations such as Hamas. He was given a ten-year ban on re-entry to the country. In May 2009, he was placed on the British Home Office's list of "Individuals banned from the UK for stirring-up hatred" for being "Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by seeking to foment, justify or glory terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs and to provoke others to commit terrorist acts." Other countries that have refused admission to Ghoneim include Canada, Switzerland and Tunisia. (en)
