- Der Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen 1867 e. V. ist der älteste heute noch existierende Zusammenschluss bildender Künstlerinnen in Deutschland. Er unterhält das Archiv Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen 1867 e. V., publiziert Vereinsmitteilungen und Kataloge und vergibt im zweijährigen Turnus den „Marianne-Werefkin-Preis“ an zeitgenössische Künstlerinnen. Er pflegt somit das kulturelle Gedächtnis und fördert die aktuellen Entwicklungen zeitgenössischer Künstlerinnen. Die Preisträgerin des Jahres 2007 war die Bildhauerin Paloma Varga Weisz. Das Vereinsarchiv wird unter anderem als Quelle von Dissertationen, Magister- und Diplomarbeiten über einzelne Künstlerinnen sowie die Position von Künstlerinnen in Ausbildung und Gesellschaft genutzt. So diente Datenmaterial aus dem Archiv für Arbeiten über Charlotte Berend-Corinth, Käthe Kollwitz, Jeanne Mammen, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Marg Moll, Elisabet Ney, Harriet von Rathlef-Keilmann und Gertraud Rostosky. Das Vereinsarchiv ist seit dem 1. November 2012 per Vertrag an das Archiv der Akademie der Künste (Abteilung Bildende Kunst) übergegangen. Kooperationspartner des Vereins ist die Berlinische Galerie Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst, Fotografie und Architektur. Mit ihrer Hilfe konnte im Jahr 1992 zum 125-jährigen Vereinsjubiläum eine umfangreiche Dokumentation über die Mitglieder und Förderer des Vereins erstellt werden, das als Künstlerinnenlexikon erschienen ist (siehe ). - La Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen 1867 e.V. (VdBK) es la asociación de mujeres artistas más antigua que existe en Alemania. La asociación es la encargada de gestionar el archivo Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen 1867 e. V., publicar boletines y catálogos de la organización. Además concede cada dos años el "Premio Marianne-Werefkin" a mujeres artistas contemporáneas, con el objetivo de cultivar la memoria cultural y promover el trabajo de las mujeres artistas contemporáneas. La ganadora del premio en 2007 fue la escultora Paloma Varga Weisz. El archivo de la asociación se utiliza, entre otras cosas, como fuente de disertaciones, tesis de máster y diplomas sobre mujeres artistas individuales, así como sobre la posición de las mujeres artistas en la educación y la sociedad. Por ejemplo, se han utilizado materiales del archivo para trabajos sobre , Käthe Kollwitz, Jeanne Mammen, Paula Modersohn-Becker, , Elisabet Ney, y . Desde el 1 de noviembre de 2012, el archivo de la asociación ha sido transferido por contrato al archivo de la Akademie der Künste (Academia de las Artes de Berlín). - The Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen (English: Association of Berlin Artists) is the oldest existing association of women artists in Germany. It maintains the archive Verein der Berliner Künstlerinnen 1867 e. V., publishes club announcements and catalogues, and every two years awards the “Marianne Werefkin Prize” to contemporary female artists. It thus cultivates cultural memory and promotes the current developments of contemporary artists. The 2007 award winner was the sculptor Paloma Varga Weisz. The archive of the association is used, among other things, as a source of dissertations, master's theses and diploma theses on individual artists and the position of artists in training and society. Data from the archive was used for works on Charlotte Berend-Corinth, Käthe Kollwitz, Jeanne Mammen, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Marg Moll, Elisabet Ney, Harriet von Rathlef-Keilmann, and Gertraud Rostosky.
