The Varman Dynasty (also known as Yadava-Varman) was a Hindu Yadava dynasty which originated in the Indian subcontinent. The Varmans took control of Eastern Bengal (Comprising the ancient land of Harikela, Vanga and Samatata) after replacing the Chandra Dynasty. They established their capital at Bikrampur in present-day Munshiganj District of Bangladesh.
