- La Resolució 1960 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides fou adoptada per unanimitat el 16 de desembre de 2010. Després de recordar les resolucions 1325 (2000), 1612 (2005), 1674 (2006), 1888 (2009), 1820 (2008), 1889 (2009) i 1894 (2009), el Consell va demanar informació sobre parts sospitoses de patrons de violència sexual durant conflictes armats per posar-lo a la seva disposició. La resolució va ser patrocinada per 60 països. La seva adopció va ser elogiada per Human Rights Watch, que la va anomenar "un pas tremend per acabar amb aquesta horrible pràctica". (ca)
