- USS PGM-8 was a PGM-1 class motor gunboat that served in the United States Navy during World War II. She was originally laid down as a SC-497 class submarine chaser on 2 November 1942 by the Wilmington Boat Works in Wilmington, California and launched on 1 May 1943. She was commissioned as USS SC-1366 on 12 August 1943. She was later converted to a PGM-1 class motor gunboat and renamed PGM-8 on 10 December 1943. After the war she was transferred to the Foreign Liquidations Commission in May 1947. Her exact fate is unknown. (en)

Stępka pod okręt została położona 2 listopada 1942 roku przez Wilmington Boat Works, Inc. w Wilmington w Kalifornii. Jednostkę zwodowano 1 maja 1943 roku. Pierwotnie był to ścigacz okrętów podwodnych typu SC-497 i został wprowadzony do służby 12 sierpnia 1943 roku jako USS SC-1366. 10 grudnia 1943 roku okręt przebudowano na kanonierkę typu PGM-1 i zmieniono jego nazwę na USS PGM-8.
