Tweed Farms in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario was the world's largest legal cannabis greenhouse in 2014. At that time, it had 350,000 square feet (33,000 m2) of indoor space. It is owned by Canopy Growth Corporation, a publicly traded Canadian company. In 2017 the company received a license to expand to c. 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m2) of space, to be ready for production by April 2018.
