Die Stahl-Brücke wurde bis 1906 als Teil der Indianapolis Southern Railroad errichtet, deren Hauptanteilseigner die Illinois Central Railroad (IC) war. Der Streckenabschnitt zwischen Indianapolis in Indiana und in Illinois wurde 1986 von der (INRD) erworben, die die Brücke heute als Teil ihres regionalen Netzwerkes von über 360 Streckenkilometern betreibt. - The Tulip Viaduct is a 2,295-foot (700 m) long railroad bridge (also known as the Greene County Viaduct or Tulip Trestle, and officially designated Bridge X76-6) in Greene County, Indiana, that spans between Solsberry and Tulip. According to Richard Simmons and Francis Haywood Parker, authors of Railroads of Indiana, it is "easily the state's most spectacular railroad bridge". The bridge was built in 1905 and 1906 by the and successor , which became part of the Illinois Central Railroad in 1911. It is now part of the Indianapolis–Newton, Illinois, line of the Indiana Rail Road. (en)
