- Tsuchiyama (土山町, Tsuchiyama-chō) était un bourg japonais du district de Kōka, dans la préfecture de Shiga. Il a fusionné en 2004 avec les bourgs de Kōka, Shigaraki, Minakuchi et Kōnan pour former la ville de Kōka. Tsuchiyama comptait 95 676 habitants pour une superficie de 481,69 km2. Elle est desservie par les routes nationales : 1, 307, 422 et 477. Le bourg est essentiellement connu dans la région pour ses plantations de thé. C'est d'ailleurs le premier producteur de thé de la préfecture de Shiga, et un des plus gros du Japon. C'est également la 49e station de la route du Tōkaidō dans les gravures de Hiroshige, et la 50e estampe de la série.

- Tsuchiyama (土山町, Tsuchiyama-chō) was a town located in Kōka District, Shiga Prefecture, Japan. As of 2004, the town had an estimated population of 9,007 and a density of 71.37 persons per km². The total area is 126.2 km². On October 1, 2004, Tsuchiyama and the towns of Kōka, Kōnan, Minakuchi and Shigaraki (all from Kōka District), were merged to create the city of Kōka. Tsuchiyama is famous for Tsuchiyama-juku, one of the 53 post stations along the Tokaido road and for its production of green tea. Kōka city produces 80% of all green tea in Shiga Prefecture. The sister city of Tsuchiyama is Traverse City, Michigan, United States. (en)
