- Triplemanía XXV fue la vigésima quinta edición de Triplemanía, de lucha libre profesional producido por la empresa mexicana Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. El evento se llevó a cabo el 26 de agosto de 2017 en la Arena Ciudad de México. Este evento no se llevó a cabo en pay-per-view (PPV) y fue abiertamente trasmitido en Twitch en diferido después del evento, debido a evitar bajo índice de audiencia a causa de la lucha entre McGregor vs. Mayweather, que se emitió en el mismo horario. En el evento principal, Psycho Clown derrotó a Dr. Wagner Jr., perdiendo su máscara en Triplemanía. Además, Johnny Mundo derrotó a El Texano Jr. y El Hijo del Fantasma para retener su Tricampeón de la AAA (Megacampeonato, Campeonato Mundial de Peso Crucero y Campeonato Latinoamericano), y y ganaron el Campeonato Mundial en Parejas de AAA luego de derrotar a & Escoria, Aero Star & Drago y Team GFW. El evento contó con la presencia de los luchadores de Global Force Wrestling: Jeff Jarret, Lashley, Moose, Andrew Everett, DJ Z y una luchadora de Knockout: Rosemary. Esta sería la sexta edición consecutiva del evento en ser realizada en la Arena Ciudad de México después de los años 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, y 2016, y la doceava en realizarse en la Ciudad de México. - Triplemanía XXV was a professional wrestling event produced and scripted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). The event took place on August 26, 2017, and was held in the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. This was the sixth consecutive Triplemanía to be held at the arena. Also, the event was the 25th year in a row that AAA had held a Triplemanía show, and the 31st show held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993. The annual Triplemanía show is AAA's biggest show of the year, serving as the culmination of major storylines and feature wrestlers from all over the world competing in what has been described as AAA's version of WrestleMania or their Super Bowl event. The main event match was the culmination of a year-long storyline that started at Triplemanía XXIV as both Psycho Clown and Dr. Wagner Jr. put their mask on the line in a Lucha de Apuestas, or bet match. Via AAA's partnership with the U.S.-based Global Force Wrestling (GFW), wrestlers from that promotion also appeared on the card, including Andrew Everett, DJZ, Jeff Jarrett, Lashley, Moose and Rosemary.
