- Ο Αφρικανικός αρτόκαρπος (επιστ. ονομ.: Treculia africana – Τρεκουλία η αφρικανική, αγγλ.: African breadfruit) είναι είδος δέντρου του γένους Treculia. Χρησιμοποιείται ως φυτική τροφή. Οι καρποί είναι σκληροί και ινώδεις, μπορεί να είναι το μέγεθος μπάλας του βόλεϊ και βάρους έως και 8,5 κιλά (19 lb). Οι χιμπαντζήδες έχουν παρατηρηθεί να χρησιμοποιούν εργαλεία για τη διάσπαση των καρπών σε μικρά κομμάτια, όπου μπορούν να φαγωθούν. Οι καρποί περιέχουν πολυφαινόλες. (el)
