- Das Tranquillity Valley (englisch für Tal der Ruhe) ist ein verschneites Tal im westantarktischen Queen Elizabeth Land. Im westlichen Teil des Dufek-Massivs in den Pensacola Mountains liegt es zwischen dem Hannah Peak und dem Cairn Ridge. Die Benennung des Tals erfolgte auf Vorschlag des US-amerikanischen Geologen Arthur B. Ford, Leiter der Mannschaften des United States Geological Survey (USGS), die von 1965 bis 1979 in den Pensacola Mountains tätig waren. Namensgebend ist die windgeschützte Lage, durch die das Tal einen Zufluchtsort für die USGS-Mannschaften darstellte, die aus der windumtosten Umgebung hierher fanden. Zudem sollte die Benennung in Zusammenhang mit derjenigen des Enchanted Valley die besondere Schönheit dieses Teils des Dufek-Massivs unterstreichen. (de)
- Tranquillity Valley (in lingua inglese: Valle della tranquillità) è una valle antartica coperta di neve, situata tra il Cairn Ridge e l'Hannah Peak, nel settore occidentale del Dufek Massif nei Monti Pensacola, in Antartide. La denominazione fu proposta da Arthur B. Ford, geologo dell'United States Geological Survey (USGS), responsabile di molti gruppi dell'USGS che operarono nei Monti Pensacola tra il 1969 e il 1979. La denominazione fa riferimento alle tipiche condizioni climatiche della valle, che risulta essere per lo più al riparo dai forti venti. Le motoslitte dei gruppi dell'USGS che provenivano da altre zone più fredde e ventose, trovavano un gradevole rifugio in questa valle. La denominazione ben si accorda inoltre con quella della vicina Enchanted Valley, per indicare la generale bellezza di questa parte del Dufek Massif. (it)

The name was proposed by , United States Geological Survey (USGS) geologist, leader of several USGS field parties to the Pensacola Mountains, 1965–79. Named from its typical weather conditions, the valley being protected from strong winds most of the time. The USGS snowmobile parties coming from cold, windy areas found welcome refuge in this valley.
