- Der Torre Colpatria ist ein Wolkenkratzer in der kolumbianischen Hauptstadt Bogotá im Stadtbezirk Santa Fe. Mit seiner quadratischen Grundfläche und 196 Metern Höhe war er lange Zeit das höchste und repräsentativste Gebäude der Stadt, Stolz und Symbol des wirtschaftlichen Aufbruchs der Stadt und des Landes. Das Edificio Colpatria, wie es auch genannt wird, befindet sich an der Kreuzung der Avenida Eldorado und der Carrera Septima und schmiegt sich an die östliche Andenkette. Eigentürmer ist die kolumbianische Holding Grupo Colpatria. Einen tollen Panoramablick über Bogotá erhält man, wenn man in den 48. Stock des Gebäudes hinauffährt. Die Öffnungszeiten für den Besuch des Aussichtspunktes Torre Colpatria sind freitags von 18–19 Uhr; samstags von 14–20 Uhr und sonntags 11–17 Uhr. Das Ticket kostet 7.000 COP (ca. 2 EUR) pro Person. Bunte Lichter der LED-Technologie wurden an der Fassade des Gebäudes angebracht und sind nachts von verschiedenen Punkten der Stadt aus zu sehen. Seit dem 6. August 1998, zum Jahrestag der Stadt, verfügt der Turm über dieses Beleuchtungssystem, das Lichtstrahlen auf die weißen Pilaster projiziert. Die Farben der Projektorenfilter ändern sich dabei mehrmals pro Minute und erinnern an sich bewegende Wellen oder Fensterläden, die sich öffnen oder schließen. En ĝia teraso estas rigardejo el kiu oni povas kontempli grandan parton de la urbo kaj de Bogota Savano. En 1998 se instalaron treinta y seis luces de xenón que, a finales de 2012, se reemplazaron con luces de tecnología LED en su fachada. - The Torre Colpatria (English: Colpatria Tower) is a 50-story skyscraper in the downtown area of Bogotá, Colombia. It is the fourth tallest building in the country. Constructed from 1973 to 1978 and opened in 1979, it has a total height of 196 metres (643 ft), becoming the tallest skyscraper of Colombia and holding that title until 2016, when the south tower of the BD Bacatá was topped off. The main headquarters of the Colpatria Bank are located in the building, and also a great number of other banks and financial corporations have offices in it. The building lies at the intersection of 26th street and 7th avenue, in the heart of the city's downtown. Since 1998, the Colpatria Tower was illuminated every night with thirty-six color changing Xenon lights. In 2012, the Dutch lighting company Philips replaced the old lights with a 120-metre (390 ft)-high LED system to improve the lighting of the building and project high-definition images. Because of that, and also because it was the tallest skyscraper in Colombia for almost 40 years, the building is a landmark in the country and dominates Bogota's skyline along with other structures such as the BD Bacatá, the World Trade Center, FONADE and Colseguros buildings.
