- Theo Keating (* Dezember 1971 in Großbritannien), besser bekannt unter seinen Aliassen Fake Blood und DJ Touché, ist ein britischer Musiker, DJ und Produzent. Als erfolgreicher Underground-Electro-Produzent brachte er wesentliche Einflüsse in die Big-Beat-Szene ein. Zusammen mit Paul Eve alias DJ Regal gründete er 1994 die britischen Band The Wiseguys. Nach der Trennung im Jahr 2001 veröffentlichte er als Solokünstler DJ Touché u. a. das Album Ultraviolet (2002) und die Single The Paddle / The Girl's a Freak (2004), die in den englischen Musikcharts landete. Im Jahr 2006 gründete er mit Simon Lord die Gruppe The Black Ghosts. Unter dem Alias Fake Blood produziert er seit 2007 House-Remixe und eigene Produktionen. Zunächst war unbekannt, wer Fake Blood war. Keating bestätigte nicht offiziell, dass er Fake Blood war, bis er im September 2008 bei der Parklife-Tour in Australien auflegte. Il a précédemment fait partie du groupe de Big beat The Wiseguys, connu pour des morceaux comme Ooh La La ou encore Start the Commotion. Il produit des morceaux d'électronique sous le pseudonyme Dj Touché et fait actuellement partie du groupe avec Simon Lord, ancien Simian, dont on retrouve la voix dans la célèbre chanson We Are Your Friends remixée par Justice. Il est actuellement actif depuis fin 2007 sur un autre de ses projets, en tant que producteur de house dans un style relativement agressif, sous le pseudonyme Fake Blood. Keating's current project is a duo called the Black Ghosts where he performs with Simon William Lord, formerly a founding member of rock band Simian. Keating is also a popular house and electro DJ and producer, under the name Fake Blood. He has released several successful productions and remixes as Fake Blood, including his 2009 release "I Think I Like It". In 2009, Fake Blood featured on an episode of BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix. In May 2012, Fake Blood announced plans on his Facebook page about a new 3-track EP. Later, in July 2012, he stated that the album Cells would be released in the autumn. It featured brand new tracks and its first single, "Yes/No" was released in August as an EP, followed up by the second single "All in the Blink" later in the year.
