- The Animation Workshop es una escuela de animación ubicada en el antiguo cuartel militar en Viborg, Dinamarca. Es parte de la Escuela de Negocios, Tecnología e Industrias Creativas de VIA University College. Desde finales de la década de 1980, The Animation Workshop ha educado y capacitado a animadores para la industria danesa e internacional de animación, juegos de computadora y efectos visuales. El Taller de Animación cuenta con una sólida red internacional de artistas, profesionales, empresas, instituciones de financiación y escuelas asociadas. Los profesores y estudiantes provienen de Dinamarca y del resto del mundo, y todas las clases se imparten en inglés. TAW ha desempeñado un papel en muchos proyectos internacionales, que buscan mejorar y crear una comprensión del papel que pueden desempeñar la animación funcional y los cómics aplicados en el discurso público, el aprendizaje y los procesos de comunicación modernos. En 2016, la institución apareció entre las 20 mejores escuelas para contratar según la selección de Animation Magazine y ganó el quinto lugar a nivel mundial en los CG Student Awards en 2015. - The Animation Workshop is an animation school housed in the former military barracks in Viborg, Denmark. It is a part of VIA University College's School of Business, Technology and Creative Industries. Since the late 1980s, The Animation Workshop has educated and trained animators for the Danish as well as the international animation, computer game and visual effects industry. The Animation Workshop has a strong international network of artists, professionals, companies, funding institutions and partner schools. Teachers and students come from Denmark and the rest of the world, and all classes are conducted in English. TAW has played a role in many international projects, which seek to improve and create an understanding of the role functional animation and applied comics can play in public discourse, learning and modern communication processes. In 2016, the institution was featured among The Top 20 Schools to Hire From as selected by Animation Magazine and won 5th place worldwide in the CG Student Awards in 2015. TAW ranked among the Top 100 Schools for Animation, Gaming and Design and 14th among International Animation Schools by the Animation Career Review in 2014. (en)
