- Texas in July ist eine Metalcore-Band aus Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA die 2007 in Lancaster gegründet wurde. Zur Zeit der Gründung waren die Musiker zwischen 18 und 21 Jahre alt. Zwischenzeitlich stand die Gruppe bei unter Vertrag, wo sie ihre EP Salt of the Earth (2008) und das Debütalbum I Am (2009) veröffentlichten. Nach dem immer größer werdenden Erfolg der Gruppe bot Equal Vision Records der Band einen Plattenvertrag an um weitere Alben in Nordamerika zu verkaufen. In Europa werden die Alben inzwischen vom deutschen Label Nuclear Blast vertrieben. Das zweite Album One Reality erschien im April 2011. (de)

Toen Alex Good, Adam Gray, Christian Royer, Logan Maurer en Ben Witkowski de band in 2007 oprichtten zaten ze nog op de middelbare school, waarna ze in 2008 hun eerste EP Salt of the Earth uitbrachten. Vier studioalbums later, besloot de band er na een laatste tour door Noord-Amerika en Europa in 2015 een punt achter te zetten. (nl)
