- Die Ansiedlung Teal Inlet (spanisch Caleta Trullo) liegt im Süden der Bucht auf Ostfalkland. Während des Falklandkrieges im Jahr 1982 war Teal Inlet ein Landungspunkt für die britischen Einheiten im Rahmen der Operation zur Einnahme von Goose Green. Im weiteren Verlauf des Krieges diente die Siedlung als Hafen und sicherer Ort für das 11th Mine Countermeasures Squadron um vor argentinischen Luftangriffen während der Rückeroberung von Port Stanley geschützt zu sein. Se ubica a 1 msnm y desde allí puede observarse la de 648 msnm. El establecimiento tuvo un papel menor en la guerra de las Malvinas cuando las tropas británicas, que habían establecido una cabeza de puente en el estrecho de San Carlos, divididas en dos, con un grupo yendo a luchar en Pradera del Ganso y el otro viajando a lo largo de la parte norte de la isla Soledad, por Caleta Trullo. Este lugar fue utilizado como puerto de refugio por para refugiarse de los ataques aéreos durante el asalto final a Puerto Argentino/Stanley. (es)

It is overshadowed by Jack's Mountain. The settlement played a minor part in the Falklands War, when British troops, who had established a bridgehead at San Carlos Water, divided into two, with one group going to fight at Goose Green and the other travelling along the northern part of East Falkland, by Teal Inlet. Teal Inlet was used as a harbour of refuge by 11th MCM Squadron ships to shelter from air attacks by day during the final assault on Port Stanley. (en)
