- Der Tate-Gletscher ist ein Gletscher in der antarktischen Ross Dependency. Im Königin-Maud-Gebirge fließt er auf der Südseite des Thomas Spur in östlicher Richtung und mündet gemeinsam mit dem Moffett-Gletscher in den Amundsen-Gletscher. Der United States Geological Survey kartierte ihn anhand eigener Vermessungen und Luftaufnahmen der United States Navy aus den Jahren von 1960 bis 1964. Das Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names benannte ihn 1967 nach dem US-amerikanischen Geomagnetologen und Seismologen Robert G. - Tate Glacier (85°54′S 160°50′W / 85.900°S 160.833°W) is a tributary glacier on the south side of Thomas Spur, flowing east and merging with Moffett Glacier just east of the spur where the two glaciers enter the larger Amundsen Glacier, in the Queen Maud Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Robert Tate, geomagnetist-seismologist with the South Pole Station winter party, 1964. - Il Ghiacciaio Tate (in lingua inglese: Tate Glacier) è un ghiacciaio tributario antartico, situato sul versante meridionale del Thomas Spur, che fluisce in direzione est e si unisce al Ghiacciaio Moffett subito a est dello sperone roccioso, dove i due ghiacciai vanno a confluire nel più esteso Ghiacciaio Amundsen, nei Monti della Regina Maud, in Antartide. Il ghiacciaio è stato mappato dall'United States Geological Survey (USGS) sulla base di rilevazioni e di foto aeree scattate dalla U.S. Navy nel periodo 1960-64. La denominazione è stata assegnata dall'Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) in onore di Robert G.
