- Symphony No. 2 by Levko Revutsky in E major exists in two editions. The first edition of the symphony was completed in 1927 and presented at the All-Ukrainian Leontovich Society competition on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the "October Revolution." The symphony shared first place with B. Lyatoshynsky's "Fantasy on Ukrainian themes." According to musicologists, the symphony combines such trends as "Ukrainization" and "Europeanization," and over time it was recognized as the first national work in the genre of symphony. In 1940, Revutsky performed the second edition of the symphony. For this edition, he was awarded the State Prize of the USSR in 1941. In the postwar period, Revutsky's second Symphony was performed in the USSR exclusively in the second edition, while the first was considered lost for a long time. Only in 2020, the first edition of the symphony was found in the archives of the Lviv Philharmonic. In 2020, the first edition of the Symphony was republished by the publishing house "Musical Ukraine" and performed for the first time after a long break in Kyiv on September 22, 2020. The symphony consists of three parts. All parts are lyrical, diverse in genres, images, and moods. The main theme of the first part is the spring song "Oh, spring, vesnitsa," recorded by the composer in his native village of Irzhavets. (en)

A primeira edição da sinfonia foi concluída em 1927 e apresentada no concurso da Sociedade Ucraniana Leontovich por ocasião do 10º aniversário da "Revolução de Outubro". A sinfonia dividiu o primeiro lugar com "Fantasia sobre temas ucranianos", de De acordo com musicólogos, a sinfonia combina tendências como "ucranização" e "europeização", e com o tempo foi reconhecida como a primeira obra nacional no género de sinfonia. Em 1940, Revutsky executou a segunda edição da sinfonia. Nesta edição, recebeu o Prémio Estatal da URSS em 1941. No pós-guerra, a segunda Sinfonia de Revutsky foi executada na URSS exclusivamente na segunda edição, enquanto a primeira foi considerada perdida por muito tempo. Somente em 2020, a primeira edição da sinfonia foi encontrada nos arquivos da Filarmónica de Lviv. Em 2020, a primeira edição da Sinfonia foi republicada pela editora "Musical Ukraine" e apresentada pela primeira vez após uma longa pausa, em Kiev, em 22 de setembro de 2020.
