- Nadace saských památných míst pro připomínání obětí politické tyranie (německy Stiftung Sächsische Gedenkstätten zur Erinnerung an die Opfer politischer Gewaltherrschaft, zkráceně Stiftung Sächsische Gedenkstätten, popř. StSG) je veřejnoprávní nadace zřízená Svobodným státem Sasko, která udržuje nebo finančně podporuje vícero památných míst k připomínání obětí nacionálního socialismu a komunismu. Její činnost byla po sporu mezi sdruženími obětí a po následné kritice vymezena v novele Zákona o saské nadaci památných míst (SächsGVBl. S. 623), která byla s velkou většinou přijata Saským zemským sněmem 17. října 2012. Tato novela vstoupila v platnost 16. prosince 2012. Nadace je členem Platformy evropské paměti a svědomí (Platform of European Memory and Conscience). - Die Stiftung Sächsische Gedenkstätten zur Erinnerung an die Opfer politischer Gewaltherrschaft ist eine vom Freistaat Sachsen errichtete Stiftung des öffentlichen Rechts, die mehrere Gedenkstätten zur Erinnerung an die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus und des Kommunismus selbst in eigener Trägerschaft unterhält oder finanziell unterstützt. Nach Streit zwischen Verbänden der Opfer des Nationalsozialismus und der kommunistischen Diktatur und Kritik am Gedenkstättenstiftungsgesetz hat der Sächsische Landtag am 17. Oktober 2012 mit großer Mehrheit eine Novelle des Gesetzes beschlossen (SächsGVBl. S. 623). Diese ist am 16. Dezember 2012 in Kraft getreten. Die Stiftung ist Mitglied der Platform of European Memory and Conscience. (de)

La fundación es una institución miembro fundadora de la Plataforma de la Memoria y de la Conciencia Europeas. En el régimen comunista totalitario de Alemania Oriental, solo se conmemoraban las víctimas comunistas del nacionalsocialismo. Por lo tanto, después de 1989, surgió la necesidad de instituciones y monumentos a otras víctimas del nacionalsocialismo y a las víctimas del comunismo. La fundación fue iniciada por el gobierno estatal de Sajonia el 15 de febrero de 1994. The foundation is a founding member institution of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience. In the totalitarian communist regime of East Germany, only communist victims of national socialism were commemorated. Hence, after 1989, the need for institutions and memorials to other victims of national socialism and to victims of communism arose. The foundation was founded by the state government of Saxony on 15 February 1994. On 28 February 2003, the Landtag of Saxony adopted a law regulating the activities of the foundation (Sächsische Gedenkstättenstiftungsgesetz). The foundation is headed by Siegfried Reiprich, who is also a member of the Executive Board of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience. (en)
