- La Catedral de Santa Teresa o bien Catedral de Yuba (en inglés: Cathedral of St. Therese) es el nombre que recibe un edificio religioso ubicado en la Avenida Unity (Unidad) en Baḩr al Jabal (Central Equatoria) concretamente en el barrio de Kotor en la localidad de Yuba, capital del país africano de Sudán del Sur, y que funciona como la sede del arzobispo de la arquidiócesis de Yuba (en latín: Archidioecesis Iubaensis, creada el 12 de diciembre de 1974). Su construcción comenzó en 1952. Durante la guerra civil en Sudán del Sur cerca de 5000 personas se refugiaron en la catedral en Juba, durante días por los violentos enfrentamientos entre facciones rivales del ejército nacional. - St Theresa’s Cathedral is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church and the cathedral of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Juba in South Sudan. The cathedral church is located on Unity Avenue in Bahr al Jabal (Central Equatoria) in the district of Kator in the city of Juba, Construction of the church began in 1952. It was designated the cathedral upon the erection of the Archdiocese of Juba (Latin: Archidioecesis Iubaensis) on December 12, 1974 by Pope Paul VI with the bull Cum in Sudania. During the civil war in southern Sudan, about 5,000 people took refuge in the cathedral, which was kept shut for days by violent clashes between rival factions of the national army. (en)
